About:China Visa Application in USA

How do we get a visa to enter Shanghai with uk passport traveling from UAE for 3 nights only ?

Liz, as you hold UK passport and you only stay for 3 threes in Shanghai, you can book a flight ticket from UAE to Shanghai and then to a third country or region so as to use the 144h free transit in Shanghai. In this case, the visa is not necessary.
