if there was a cheaper way to reach the summit of Tianmenshan, avoiding the cable car ?

Thanks for your tips.
I am travelling with my family, we are 4, and we think that it is very expensive ... we are looking for a way to visit this in a cheaper way.

It seems you have to pay for CNY 258 which is the entrance ticket and transportation fare. You can’t refuse to pay for the transportation fee.
