About:China Transit Visa

Travelling from India to Victoria, Canada, will I need transit visa for layover in Beijing?

Hello!! I will be travelling from India to Victoria Canada on a student visa. IllI be taking Air China from Mumbai to Beijing. I have a layover of 3h 55 mins in beijing. So, will I need a transit visa for Beijing? I will not be going out of the airport. Please let me know. Thank you!!!
