Does this qualify for 144 TWOV?

Hi - traveling in Spain and want to see if I qualify for 144 hour visa. Plan to leave tomorrow Aug 22 Itinerary is Barcelona - Hong Kong - Shanghai with a return on the 28th Shanghai - Hong Kong - USA.
