About:China Visa Application Requirements

Visa requirements for US passport holder

My friend flies for Delta and invited me as a "buddy". There is no ticket, at present and we would be staying in Shanghai for three days at the hotel used by Delta for their flight crew. I have my US passport, good until 2025. How do I work around the visa requirements, or can I?

If you don't have invitation letter from China, you don't need round trip air tickets and hotel reservation for the application. Otherwise, you must have a confirmed ticket, not standby.
