going to wutaishan from hohhot by long distance bus

Question

Hello, can somehow explain and recommend a way for me to reach Taihuai from Hohhot? I will be travelling from Hohhot for a visit to Wutai Mountain. I would really like to keep transport methods to long distance buses and I do not mind if I need to change bus along the way. But I just want to know the most efficient method by bus. Thank you!

There is bus departing from Hohhot Tongda South Station to Wutaishan. It departs at 8:00 and takes about 6.5 hours to get there.

Amazing. Thank you. In fact that is the exact journey I took. I am on the bus now! For any future travellers, I can confirm the price of the bus ticket is ¥125 and depending on traffic, the journey can take between seven to nine hours
