About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Confused about visas.

I am planning 0n flying from the US to Shanghai. We would like to spend three days there. Then, buying round trip airfare from Shanghai to Tokyo, spend a week, fly back to Shanghai high, then back to the US. What visa do I need if anything?

You don't need to apply for visa for Shanghai as you are eligible for the free transit policy in there in both directions.
