About:China Business Visa

I am working for a training company in Canada that delivers training in China

My company (in Canada) is providing training in China for an organization. I am personally considered as a professor at one of the leading universities. When I work in China, I don't get paid personally but my company does. My company pays me salary. I am very confused what kind of visa I should obtain when I enter. Is it business M, or z or can it be L?

Thank you.

Hi, I think you can try to apply for business M type for the trip in mainland China.

What if i am a freelancer, delivering service (mainly, training, consultative) to a company China on behalf of a foreign service company on short term (10days) per quarter basis. I dont get pay directly by the Chinese company as the company will pay the foreign service company engaging me. What type of visa is required?

If you can get an invitation letter from the Chinese company, you can try to apply for a business M type then.
