About:Year of the Sheep / Goat

I am a sheep November 22, 1979. I have been out of full time permanent work for the past decade.

I relocated from Florida to Maryland and I left my teaching position and I haven't found luck in finding employment in this state. I just finishedy Masters to improve my credentials but I still haven't heard back from prospects in this state. My parents are urging me to move back to Florida but I have a son and my son's father doesn't want me to move and take our son with me. I am desperate need of some guidance and hope for what I can do.

To tell the truth, in 2018, it is hard for you to find a good job that you like. Maybe you can start your own business. Also, in 2019, your career fortune is much better and you have a large chance to hunt for a good job and get high income. Hope you can cheer up and never give up trying. Good luck to you.

As a 21-year resident of Maryland, a lot depends on where you live as to where you can find work in the state. Some areas are rather economically depressed, while others are not. Southern Maryland where I live has a lot of folks who commute to work into D.C. and Virginia. Since I'm not sure about your qualifications, I can't really recommend where you can find the best job. My hubby is retired military with a Masters in Business Project Management. He makes 6 figures. His company is looking to hire more folks. If you live in a region where the population is growing, educators are needed. There are also government jobs. Law enforcement is training and hiring. More medical personnel are needed. Keep an open mind. You'll be surprised what you are capable of doing. Military installations also hire civilians. Gov't work can pay well, and have benefits. By the way, I'm also a military veteran/retiree. I opt not to work so there are more jobs out there for others.
