Baby's visa

Hello everyone,Hope someone will answer my questions here, Im a Filipino citizen working in China with my live in partner,father of my son.Both of us have Z and We are planning to get a dependent visa for him in the Ph(China Embassy)and bring him here and stay with us.My question is,what type of visa that we can apply for him which is easy to convert to residency.Please share yours,Thank you in advance!

You can try to apply for S1 type for your baby from the China embassy in the Ph.

Thank you for your reply. I hope they can give visa for him the same as visa that we have.
Is S1 can convert to Residency?

S1 visa must be converted to a residence permit within 30 days of arrival.
