post for m visa

i am currently on a M here in china. australian passport holder. my business is not finished can i get a new M by post or do i have to go in person in australia

You cannot make the application by post in your case. If you want to stay in mainland China for longer time, you can try to extend your M type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go back to your home country for that.
