Dormitory Beds available by walk in up the Mtn Huashan.

Since the normal rooms Up on the Mtns r so expensive & not good conditions , can one get Dorm.Beds for the Night when ascend to the Top ?. Dongfeng Hotel or Huashan Jintian Villa ( East Pk ) Golden Sky Mth Villa or 5 clouds Peak Hotel aroung Middle Peak as we want to view the Sunset & Rise. Is it Peak Season on August 22nd onward & How is the Weather .We R Senior Citizen & we need to prepare ? TQ

As I know, there are dormitories available at Dongfeng Hotel and Five Clouds Peak Hotel. The room rate would be around CNY 100 - 150 per bed. August is the peak season (the summer vacation in China) for climbing Mt. Huashan, so I would suggest you book the hotel in advance.

The weather at the end of August is still a bit hot, but the temperature at Mt. Huashan is much colder, especially at the peak. Therefore, you are suggested to take some warm clothes and wear comfortable sports shoes. Besides, remember to check the weather forecast in advance and prepare the rain gear if it rains.
