About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

montreal-Beijin-Tokyo

Canadian passport holder, having a less than 21 hour transit and leaving the airport to stay at a hotel next to the terminal. The 24-hour TWOV is OK in this situation? I will be traveling with my family (Japanese citizens) so I would like to make sure that there are no issues.

The 24-hour TWOV is OK in this situation. No visa will be required.
