About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour visa Beijing

We are leaving from Fukuoka Japan and connecting through Soul to Beijing. If we flew from Beijing to Japan on the way back would they accept this for the 72 hour twov?
In other words, Japan-Soul-Beijing(stay 2 days)Beijing-Japan.
Also, would it be an issue if we had the same airline round trip? Would our originating flights in Japan show up and be an issue?

Japan-Soul-Beijing(stay 2 days)Beijing-Japan qualifies for the 144h twov in Beijing. Your originating flights in Japan won't affect that.

The page needs to be updated. I didn't see anything saying can't use 144 hour, they just need to remove all references to Beijing except the link to the 144 hour page.
