About:China Visa on Arrival

I have a Mauritian passport and I'm in china on student visa but it expires in september.

I have a Mauritian passport and I came to china on student X but it will soon expire. Is it possible to get a 60 days tourist L in shenzhen? I'm planning to cross the border go to Hong Kong and come back same day.

It's possible to change X type into L type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. You can have a try.
