About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Transit visa. Maddie

Hello,
I am travelling to Thailand and have stop in Beijing for 5 hours. I am on iranian passport and permanent resident of New Zealand. Do I have to apply for transit G?

Yes, you should apply for a visa for that beforehand.

Are you sure? It says I don’t need to apply for that if I am going to stay in airport for less than 5 hours.

As I know, Iranian cannot apply for free transit policy in mainland China.
