Easiest and cheapest way of travel from Hong Kong to Beijing

Hi there, what mode of transport is easier and faster to use if I am travelling from Hong Kong to Beijing? Planning to spend in Beijing with Great wall of China included

The most direct and cheapest way should be the hard sleeper on a direct overnight trip, however, this trip will take 24 hours. If you want to go faster, then you neeed high speed ride via Shenzhen or Guangzhou. By high speed ride, the price would be higher. You can also compare the price with flight. In late this year like Oct or Nov, direct high speed rail may become one of the option as well.
