About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Applying from Anoyher Country

Hi!
I'm currently in Italy (from the US) and want to apply for a (hopefully) 12 month multi entry visa to China.

Am I risking to be denied the visa because I'm not in my country of residency?

If I am in my country of residency, could I bank on getting it and how long would I have to wait generally before I could leave?

Thank you!
Melissa

Yes, you are correct. If you are in your country, it's possible for you to apply for ten year multiple entries Chinese visa as long as you can meet the requirements. It usually takes four working days for the processing after you submit the application to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country.
