Im CYNDI 29MAY1985. Last year March I resign and move to UAE to marry

(not compatible 7Nov1982 he is very supportive in everything) it took me four months to find a job 1august2017. The company i joined is not good so when I had an opportunity for a better job I decided to resign effective 13july2018 however my previous employer is delaying my cancellation and bec of this I cant start with the new company 10 days have passed and still nothing is happening. I am planning to file a complaint to my previous company. I am wondering if this would be the right move because atm i think this is my only option to settle things out.. by the way i have properly resigned as per uae labor law, i consulted the minstry before resigning. Please advise.
