About:Beijing - Pyongyang Trains: K27/ K28

Dandong-Pyongyang -Dandong Train Ticket

Is it possible to buy soft/hard seat ticket?
Go September 5 return September 9
If so how much per person? We are a group of 6-8 person.

I think only the Dandong-Pyongyang trip cannot booked online in advance, not the return trip. By the way, as I know you need to join a group tour to visit Pyongyang so your travel agent should be able to arrange the around trip tickets for you.

No we are an invited group and we will get the visas by ourself. We just want to go by train this time not by flight.. My question is can u buy/book our Dandong-Pyongyang tickets? If not how can we buy? Thanks

I asked about this trip before with this website, they said the ticket from Beijing to Pyonggang will be accepted first and if there are beds still available when the departure date is approaching, the booking from Dandong will be accepted. Thus it would be hard for them to arrange this trip. The better way would be contact a local agent in Dandong or you can buy the ticket at Dandong CITS ticket office directly. The office is close to the Dandong Railway Station.

By the way, I think there is no seat but only bed for sale on this K27
