About:Baggage Allowance for International Flights

Rolled-up maps attached to a pole

I am taking an international flight via Singapore airlines from Beijing airport to Singapore. I will be taking either the Business or Economy class. I have some "rolled-up maps attached to a pole". Each map weighs approximately 1.5kg to 2kg. The dimensions for Map A is 160cm by 120cm, for Map B is 125cm by 108cm and for Map C is 150cm by 110cm. Please advise if we can get through the customs at Beijing airport and how to transport my items to Singapore at the airport. At the check-in counter, is there an option for air freight and what will be the process? Please share your recommendations/suggestions. Hear from you soon. Thank you.

You are advised to check in your luggage rather than mailing them by air. Although the former may be more expensive by the latter, you can receive your maps as soon as your flight land in your destination. It will save much time and procedures for you.
