24 hour transit visa - shanghai. paula

Question

I have a 10 hour stopover in Shanghai and want to book a hotel near the airport. Can I do so with the 24 hour direct transit? I'm holding an Australian passport.Thanks

Leaving the airport is no longer possible if your layover is less than 24 hours regardless of nationality. Some reported that bringing a hotel reservation will help. You can have a try. But the result cannot be guaranteed. Good luck.
