Question

I would like to know if there is a way to take the Subway from PVD airport to Hotel Equatorial Shanghai.The hotel offers a pick up from airport for 550 CNY and that is too much for us.

Yes, you can take Subway Line 2 East Extension from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and get down at Guanglan Road Station. Then transfer to Subway Line 2 to get to Jing'an Temple Station. After getting out of the station from Exit 1, you can walk to the Hotel Equatorial Shanghai. The ticket fare is around CNY 7. In addition, you can also reach the hotel by the Airport Shuttle Bus Line 2 from T1 and get off at Chengshihangzhanlou Station (Jing'an Temple). Then you can walk to the hotel, and the fare is around CNY 22.
