About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Can I study with my marriage residence visa

Dear All,
I have a residence entry permit and I want to take Chinese Language courses in the university. Can I study with my entry permit or I have to change it, and if I need to change it shall I go back to my country or it can be done in China ?

I think you need a student X type to study in mainland China. It's possible to change the current visa into the X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go back to your home country for that.

Thanks for reply. I asked the university and they told me I don’t need to change my visa.
