About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Transit in Guangzhou 72 hours

i have a ticket from Hanoi to Guangzhou and from Guangzhou to Singapore but Jetstar flight not direct, they over hochiminh city and then fly to Singapore ( but it is 1 Ticket) My end destination is Singapore. Do i get free Visa for China or not?

If you are flying Vietnam - China - Vietnam, you need a visa for that.

no. i fly vietnam- china- Singapore but Jetstar do not fly direct from Guangzhou to Singapore. i have to change flight in hochiminh city ( 1 stop in hochiminh city and fly to singapore) . is it ok for 72 hours free visa or not

It’s not ok. You’re flying Vietnam-China-Vietnam-Singapore, you’re not in transit in Guangzhou and don’t qualify for free transit. You must get a visa or fly non-stop from China to another country (not Vietnam and not China).
