payment type for tourist visa

Question

1) Does the Tourist L application have to be typed?  Will hand written application be acceptable?2)  Will you accept personal check or does it have to be cashier's check?  Can one check be submitted for husband and wife?3) Is a copy of American citizenship necessary for getting L?4) Do we need to submit hard copy of the passport and the original passport?

1) I think you need to type the application. You can contact the embassy to inquire if you can provide the hand written application.2) Personal check is not acceptable. Maybe one check can be submitted for husband and wife.3) As I know, you don't need the copy of American citizenship. 4) You need to submit hard copy of the passport and the original passport.
