Good day, I am in Yunchuan, Ninxia Provinz now. From 09.07 to 23.07 i like to plane a trip and on the silkroad. Madaan festival included. I am slovely traveling, means stay one place minimal 3 nights...simpel closed by local people :-) Any famous idee ðŸ’¡ for me, a curious lady from Switzerland ?

In Mongolia, the Nadam Fair will be held from July 16 to July 20 this year, you can go to Hohhot from Yinchuan to join in this festival. After 2-3 days, you can go back to Yinchuan and start your Silk Road tour to Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Turpan and Urumqi. The famous attractions in Jiayuguan include Jiayuguan Pass, the Overhanging Great Wall, the First Fire Tower of the Great Wall and Wei-Jin Art Gallery.Next, you can move to Dunhuang where you are advised to visit Mogao Caves, Yangguan Pass and Yumenguan Pass, Echoing-sand Mountain and Crescent Lake.Then go to Turpan where you are recommended to visit Flaming Mountain, Emin Minaret, Jiaohe and Gaochang Ancient City as well as Karez System.At last, you can conclude your Silk Road tour in Urumqi, here you can visit the Tianshan Mountains, Red Hill, Heavenly Lake and Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar.However, if the time is limited, you may consider travelling to Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Xining and some other nearby places.
