About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

5 months stay, One entry

Hello, I'm doing my exchange program in China and I cannot have a multiple entry visa from China's Embassy in my country. However, I've been told that I can ask for one once I go there. Do I have my chances to get one there ?
Thank you

The visa itself may be single-entry. However, once you're in China, you are required to obtain a residence permit within 30 days which is multiple-entry.
