Chinese Visa on Old Passport

Hi there, I was wondering. I have a brand new Canadian Passport and my Chinese entry permit is in the old passport which is still valid till 2024. Can I use the Chinese entry permit on the old passport or do I have to apply for a brand new one? If it makes a difference, it's both Canadian Passport.

You can travel by bringing both the old and new passports. No need to apply for a new Chinese visa then.

Canadians are not able to use both passports under the visa agreement so you will need a new visa affixed on your new passport.
