student x expires seeking an extension

Question

My student X expires end of July and as I have graduated I should be going back to my home country then but I would like to know if the immigration office can grant me an extra 30days for me to “pack up” and leave China, what entry permit can I apply for to get this extra time within China?

Hi, you can try to apply for the extension of X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. You are advised to contact them to inquire the details beforehand.
