About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Register each night where I sleep? Or just first night?

Hello, I just arrived in Beijing with my 144 h-free transit approved. I am staying in a hostel the beginning of my trip, but am staying at a friend's apartment the other nights. Do I need to register with the local police station near my friend's apartment? Thank you!

The hostel will you register just for the nights you stay there.
If you move out to your friend, you have to register at the local police station.
