Old to New Passport

Hello,
I have multiple entry China entry permit valid on my old passport till Nov'2018. But due to exhaustion of the passport booklet, I have a new passport now (received last week). I have both the passports together.
Will the visa on the old passport be valid, or do I need to apply for a fresh visa.
