Precise Infos about visa free entry to Hainan.

Can I just fly into Haikou from Geneva/Switzerland on my own for one or two month WITHOUT ANY FURTHER FORMALITIES?

I'am afraid you can't enjoy the policy in that case.
If you want to apply for Hainan 30-day visa-free access upon arrival at Haikou, you are supposed to book a tour from a Hainan travel agency, and then ask the travel agency to help you apply for the visa-free exemption after your arrival. If it can be done, the duration of stay time is only one month, and you need to apply for the extension from the Exit and Entry Administration Department of the local Public Security Bureau if you want to stay there for another month.
