About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for Visa Free Transit?

SF--> Shanghai 19hrs --> Kunming 2hrs --> Bangkok --> Shanghai 2hrs --> Korea --->Kunming 10hrs -->SF
Will entry permit be needed?

If it is more than 24 hours from scheduled arrival time in Shanghai to scheduled departure time from Kunming, then you will need a visa for your first entry to China.
