Can I apply free and go china free?

I done my ICS in 2015 and now I want to go china for study

Hi, as I know, if you can meet all the requirements, you can apply for the Chinese student X type from the China embassy in your country, and the application is free of charge. But you may need to pay for the tuition and fees of studying in mainland China, and after entering China, your daily living consumption also needs money.
