Dual Citizen - US/Philippine Citizen

I have dual citizenship living in the Philippines. I currently have a expired Philippine passport and wanting to apply a Chinese visa using my US passport. I have my Certificate of Philippine Citizenship with me. What would be my option here.

Applying for a Philippines passport is not an option since I need to be in China in 2 weeks.

If you have valid residence permit in the Philippines, you can try to make the application with your USA passport. Good luck.
