About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will less Than 6 Months left on passport be ok to transfer?

I will be coming from the USA Stopping in Beijing for 5 hours and going directly to Japan. I will have less than 6 months on my passport, but it will still be valid over 3 months by the time I arrive back in the us, after my trip. Will I have any problems at the Beijing airport? I believe I am eligible for the Direct Transit.

It will be fine as long as your passport has more than 3 months of remaining validity at the time of travel.
