I recommend Shanghai Blue Mountain Youth Hostel, Shanghai Old West Gate International Youth Hostel and Shanghai Beehome Youth Hostel which are in downtown area. In addition, Long Hills International Youth Hostel which is near Pudong International Airport is also a good choice if you want to find a hotel around the airport.
