About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Overseas Chinese ,Allen,Texas.need tourist visa for Oct 2018, while inNYC .can apply for visa in NYC

If you're US Citizen of Chinese descent / Overseas Chinese. Home /resident in Allen,TX. Planning with my wife, to go to Xiamen , in October 2018 , for o tour .needs tourist L
I'm in NYC at present at my daughter place.
Can I and my wife apply for a tourist L st the NYC China's consulate, while I'm here in NYC.

Hi, personally I think you can apply for a tourist L st the NYC China's consulate, while you are in NYC. If you are still worried, you can contact the consulate to confirm that beforehand.

Dear Karen.
Thank you for the prompt response of my question regarding as a Texas resident that plan to go to China as a Overseas Chinese plan in October 2018.
So we can apply the visa in New York City as at present we’re in New York City for a couple of weeks.
So planning next week to go to the Chinese consulate to apply for tourist L here in NYC,
for me and my wife Kim Lian Oei.
