About:China Visa on Arrival

Visa. Or can I get it if I just want to visit some friends in Beijing?

Hello, do I need to be part of a tourist tour to get the 144 hour-free transit?

You don't need to be part of a tour. Just make sure your route qualifies.

Our route is Madrid - HK - Beijing - Aarhus.. we bought all tickets as a round trip.. is this trip qualified?

There isn't a non-stop flight from Beijing to Aarhus. If your flight to Denmark stops in China or Hong Kong you will need a visa.

Beijing - Copenhagen - aarhus

So your trip will be Denmark - Beijing - Copenhagen - aarhus, right? If yes, you cannot enjoy 144hr free transit in Beijing.

No we are in Spain right now and we ended up buying the following tickets:
Las Palmas - Barcelona - HK
Having one day in HK
Then: HK - Beijing
4 days there.
And then: Beijing - Copenhagen - Aarhus..
All tickets bought as a round trip.
