About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Do I need a visa to travel to Shanghai Friday 30th June to Sunday July 1st?

I am a UK citizen holding a full passport.

My husband is working in China for a month and I would like to visit him from 30th June to 1st July.

Is it possible to travel without a visa?

My flights would be Singapore-Shanghai-Singapore.

Singapore-Shanghai-Singapore is not a transit, so you won't qualify for the free transit in Shanghai. You should apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
