About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Single tickets

Hello, we plan to come from Bangkok to Beijing, stay 2 days and then leave from Beijing to Orlando. Our tickets are not "connecting" flights, just a single ticket for Bangkok-Beijing and another single ticket for Beijing-Orlando.

Are we eligible for the 72 hour free transit?

Thank you!

Beijing has no nonstop flights to Orlando so whether you are eligible depends on where your stops are and whether your BKK-PEK flight is nonstop.

Sorry, forgot to specify that. BKK to PEK is nonstop, and it's Beijing - Detroit - Orlando. Thank you again!

That's fine for 144-hour transit. 72-hour transit has been superseded by 144-hour transit in January.
