About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Changing visa in HK.

Can I change my M to an X in Hong Kong or is it only possible in home country

It's possible for you to do that at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go to HK for that. Just give it a try!
