what are the required documents for the the submission of z visa application?

Hi, I am a teacher. I have got a notification letter of foreigner's work permit in the People's Republic of China. I need to know what documents are required for the submission of application. My employer told me, according to new chinese entry permit policy , applicants don't need invitation letter from the employer but the information receptionist at the Chinese consulate has asked me to bring invitation letter as well. Please list down all the required documents.

Hi, to apply for a Chinese work Z type from the China embassy in your country, you should prepare those documents including your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, a recently-taken passport-style photo, and a work permit from your employer. If the embassy ask you to provide the invitation letter, you need to prepare it then.
