About:Mt. Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area

Which month of year is better to visit lingshan Buddha ?

I am Ashok Tapase, from Mumbai, India. I am Buddhist by faith and I am admirer of Emperor Ashoka. I have learned Ashokan Script on Ashokan Pillers in India and published a book on Ashokan Inscriptions in India.
I have visited all Ashokan Pillers in India and also all Ashokan Rock Inscriptions. I am very much interested in visiting Ling Shan Buddha.
Which month is better to visit Ling Shan Buddha so as there is less rush and pleasent atmosphere ? Is there any other means of reching top, for the people who cannot climb 216 steps ?

Generally speaking, the spring and autumn is the best places to visit, however, that also means it will be a little crowded so you are advised to avoid weekends and holidays.

At present, you can only reach the top on foot. Don’t worry, it’s not very difficult and the steps are gently inclined.
