Do I need to re-apply a new Chinese Visa (Multiple Entries for 10 years)

My passport will expire soon but my Chinese entry permit still good till Jun 2025. After I have my New passport, do I need to apply a new Chinese entry permit again or carrying the old passport with the new passport at the same time to travel China?
