Subway: Pudong airport to everbright hotel (66 caobao rd), do I need to change platform somewhere?

Going soon to Shanghai and I want to take the metro from Pudong airport to go to my hotel (Everbright) on Caobao rd.
I know I need to take Line 2, then at People's Square change to line 1 south and get off at Caobao station.
I was there 3 years ago and I seem to recall I had to change platform somewhere to stay on line 2.
Can someone tell me if that it still the case or not? If so at what station do I need to jump platform to get to People's Square?
