which month is suitable for travelling to china?

Which month is there a national Chinese holiday, September or October? I need an exact date because of the airline tickets and I want to know which month is suitable for the travel.

The Chinese National Holiday is from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7. In my opinion, you may travel in September which is one of the best seasons for visiting China as the weather will be mild at that time.
