About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HKG - XMN - AMS

We will fly in June from Hongkong to Xiamen and leave two days later from Xiamen to Amsterdam via Shanghai (almost a 5h transfer at Pudong Int Airport). Are we eligible for a 72 hour Visa free transit in Xiamen?

No. Two stops in China limits you to 24 hours transit without visa.

If you can change your flight to the non-stop XMN-AMS then you would qualify for 72 hours transit without visa. Otherwise you’ll need to get a visa.
