About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Direct Transit Visa

Hey, I am a Canadian, travelling to Shanghai from Sydney, Australia on June the 4th and leaving China from Beijing on June the 12th. I see that the direct transit only covers up to 144 hours but was wondering if there would be any exemptions.
Thanks
Alex

You don't qualify for 144 hours transit without visa. Two stops in China limits you to 24 hours and only if you are in transit to a third country. You need a visa or you must change your flights.
